《青玉案》
Like the wind brings flowers to drift by Xin Qiji
中文原文

东风夜放花千树。

更吹落、星如雨。

宝马雕车香满路。

凤箫声动,玉壶光转,一夜鱼龙舞。

蛾儿雪柳黄金缕。

笑语盈盈暗香去。

众里寻他千百度。

蓦然回首,那人却在,灯火阑珊处。

English Translation

Like the wind brings flowers to drift in the sky,

the fireworks in this night fall like the rain.

Colourful cars stop on the road.girls smile

The starlight twinkles,a nightless city.

Splendid decorations around the street,

girls wear the flowers and fish the waterballs.

I look my dream lover in the crowd time after time,

accidently turn back, she's standing in where fireworks fade away.

Why Chinese poems is so special?
The most distinctive features of Chinese poetry are: concision- many poems are only four lines, and few are much longer than eight; ambiguity- number, tense and parts of speech are often undetermined, creating particularly rich interpretative possibilities; and structure- most poems follow quite strict formal patterns which have beauty in themselves as well as highlighting meaningful contrasts.
How to read a Chinese poem?
Like an English poem, but more so. Everything is there for a reason, so try to find that reason. Think about all the possible connotations, and be aware of the different possibilities of number and tense. Look for contrasts: within lines, between the lines of each couplet and between successive couplets. Above all, don't worry about what the poet meant- find your meaning.
